The time has come for every citizen of Trinidad and Tobago to understand that they have a say in how their country is governed.

There is approximately 60% of the electorate who support neither the PNM nor the UNC and therefore the vast majority, if they exersice their franchise can remove this government.

The people of Trinidad and Tobago need to stand up and be counted! Stand up for what you believe in! We as a people are too pasive about issues that are affecting us everyday. It makes no sense quarrelling and complaining if we are not willing to do anything to change things. Our electoral power should not be underestimated and only when we use it would we effect any positive changes! We need some new blood in politics..people that have fresh ideas and different ways of doing things ..b/c the two tried and tested parties have both failed miserably!

You see it shouldn't be about removing the Government because I can be sure that whoever else goes there might not be very different.

We need to rise up and demand quality representation. We need to start voting on the issues rather than race or like.

We give the members of parliament a easy run. They don't pressure them to introduce or support any legislation because we don't care what happens in parliament. Parliament is the people's forum.

We should be voting for a political party because we all live in different areas. We should be voting on who is the better candidate for the region I live in. This way you get quality representation. We need to make people fight harder for their seats. How many times have people seen their MPs in their area. Most of the time is only during election time.

We need to stop giving them a easier run and wisen up.
